Electrical Drafter/Designer:
A successful, growing, general aviation aircraft company is seeking to fill an Electrical Drafter/Designer entry level position. Collaborate with electrical design engineers to maintain, modify, and create technical drawing packages using SolidWorks 2008, a 3D Computer Aided Design software program. The successful candidate prepares drawings for wiring and layout diagrams, schematics, wire assemblies, electrical harness assemblies, and equipment wiring used in the manufacture, installation, and repair of airplane electrical systems.

Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of aircraft electrical harness assemblies: connectors, pins, sockets, splices, wire types, shielding, insulation, resistors, fuses, circuit breakers, switches etc. Hands-on experience with fabrication is a plus.
- Experience with electrical terminology, electrical symbology, electrical drawing standards, and ASME Y14.5M.
- Experience in modeling and drafting using SolidWorks or related 3D CAD software such as Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire, CATIA V5, and Solid Edge.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field of study.
- Strong desire to learn and advance their career in the electrical engineering field.
- Must have good communication & interpersonal skills, a keen eye for detail, and be highly motivated.

Aerospace Structures Engineer
Reports to: Chief Design Engineer
Job Summary:
Develop engineering designs, documents, testplans, materials & process specifications and manuals for general aviation airframes. Responsibilities will include development & test of aircraft structures and mechanical systems. Must be able to assure structural designs meet the requirements of FAR part 23 & related advisory material. Will assist in generating certification documentation, analyses and test reports. Must perform a liaison role with FAA DER staff. Position will interface closely with management and related engineering disciplines to generate policy and procedures to enhance fleet reliability.
Desired Skillset:
Bachelors degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical or Structural engineering with 6 to 10 years of experience in the areas of aeronautical and structural design are required. Previous work experience producing certification plans, test plans and test reports in a certified aircraft environment required. Possess knowledge of hand stress analysis and FEA methods. Ability to read, interpret and understand aircraft drawings, schematics and maintenance manuals. Prior knowledge of metallic and composite stress analysis and testing techniques for certified aircraft is desirable. Excellent oral and written communications skills are required.
